White County School District administrators have scheduled two public information meetings this week to address the vaping epidemic in the county’s middle and high schools.
The meetings are designed to inform both parents and the community at large about the situation.
The first session is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at White County Middle School. The second will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at White County High School. Parents and the general public are encouraged to attend the meetings to learn more about the problem and dangers of vaping.
The Thursday meeting will be streamed live on Facebook, for those who are unable to attend the meetings in person.
