As the city of Gainesville grapples with structural problems at the Gainesville Civic Center, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) has had to relocate its annual Business Expo, which had been held for years in the ballroom of the Civic Center.
GHCC officials announced Tuesday that Business Expo 2019 will be held in the Ramsey Conference Center at Lanier Technical College.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 1-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.
Organizers said more than 60 exhibitors will be at this year's expo, and they've planned a number of prize giveaways during expo hours.
Additional events on expo day include the Annual Business Luncheon and the Taste of Gainesville. Those events are paid events. Follow this link to learn more.
A damaged beam discovered recently in the attic of the Civic Center ballroom prompted the closure of that part of the Civic Center. The 2019 Business Expo is one of several events that had to relocate as a result.
