"The Uniform Patrol Division had responded to an incident involving Mr. Dunagan at the residence of his ex-wife in the 2000 block of Dawsonville Highway on January 27, 2019," Scalia wrote in a press statement. "During this incident Mr. Dunagan was alleged to have entered the residence of his ex-wife after she instructed him not to, and to have pushed and shoved her.  Mr. Dunagan is also alleged to have threatened an adult male at the location with a knife during the same incident."

Officers obtained warrants for Dunagan's arrest and went to his home on Cherokee Ford Sunday to serve the warrants, according to Scalia. He said officers found the drugs at the home.

"[Dunagan] was also found in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. The MANS Unit responded, and was able to obtain a search warrant. Mr. Dunagan was found in possession of approximately 2 pounds of methamphetamine and 2 ounces of marijuana. Additionally $5,552.00 in cash was seized from him," Scalia said.
