The Lakeview girls basketball team is the cream of the crop in Region 8-A this season.
The Lady Lions have rolled through their region schedule at a perfect 9-0. They've also won 21 games this season.
A big part of the team's success can be attributed to the play of junior guard Eliza Snyder. She's averaging 20 ppg and scored 21 and 30 points in two wins last week.
On Monday, she was named Region 8-A Player of the Year.
For those reasons, she's earned this week's Conditioned Air Systems Athlete of the Week.
We had a chance to catch up with Snyder and Lakeview coach John Carrick to talk about her play this year and the team's fight to win a Region 8-A title.
