Two Hall County health professionals were among twelve recipients last week of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce's annual Healthcare Awards.
They are Heather Wilsey, Northeast Georgia Health System, and Angie Caton, Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.
There were 72 finalists for this year's awards, which recognize individuals and organizations making a "significant" impact on the healthcare industry in Gwinnett and metro Atlanta.
“Our community is at the forefront of the healthcare sector and we are proud to recognize those that make it so strong,” said chamber President & CEO Nick Masino. “Having these innovative and advanced options are not only beneficial for residents, but they also enhance our economic development efforts, making the area more attractive for investment.”
