Peach State Bank & Trust held a “No Shave November” for the men in the bank and in return collected over $1,000.00 to help in the fight to eradicate cancer. Employees made donations to Emory Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta.
Winship Cancer Institute is Georgia’s first and only National Cancer Institute that is designated as a comprehensive cancer center seeking out new ways to defeat cancer and in translating that knowledge into patient care.
Ron Quinn, President and CEO added “Our support helps to build comprehensive programs that treat the whole patient and the money donated stays here in Georgia. Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way.”
