*Forsyth County has received a AAA rating, the highest bond rating possible, from credit rating agency Fitch Ratings. With the recognition, the county has now received the highest bond ratings, and the resulting lowest cost of borrowing, from all three major U.S. bond rating services (Moody’s, S&P and Fitch) in 2019

*Cardiologist Santhi Adigopula has joined The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
*The Cleveland-based Mountain Education Charter High School's Gilmer County affiliate has moved into the Larry Walker Center in Ellijay. An open house and ribbon-cutting are planned Dec. 12 at 4:30.
*The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission’s Career Coach will visit the Hampton Park Library in Cumming Tuesday, December 10, from 10 AM – 2 PM and the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch Wednesday, December 11, 10 AM - 2 PM. Experts will be on hand to help job seekers search and apply for jobs, write resumes and cover letters, discern their career interests, and learn about funding for training. There is no cost for any of these services.
*The Crystal Clear Guitar Ensemble, directed by Derwyn Browne, performs on Monday, December 16, at 6:00 pm at Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch. The performance is a collaboration with the Hall County Library Community public service initiative to bring free holiday entertainment music to the public.
