One lane of Maple Street in Gainesville will be closed this week as work continues on the renovation and expansion of the main branch of the Hall County Library System.
County officials urge motorists to be on the lookout for flaggers, construction workers, and equipment in the area during this time. The lane closure is expected to start on Monday and end on Friday.
The work on the library is expected to be finished next summer.
Meanwhile, according to a recent update on the work on the library, the interior framing is nearly complete, and county officials provided a video featuring a look at the work going on inside the building.
