BUFORD — The Buford girls opened their 2019-20 season with a solid 64-43 win over Class 7A North Forysth Saturday at The Buford Arena in the North Georgia High School Showcase.
The Lady Wolves (1-0) got offensive balance with four players scoring in double figures, led by Tatum Ozment with 12 points. Blair Wallis added 11 and Ashyia Willis and Tate Walters had 10 points apiece for Buford.
Buford started strong jumping out to a 14-8 lead after the first quarter and ibcreased the lead to 27-15 by halftime. The Lady Wolves were able to maintain a double-digit throughout the second half.
The Lady Wolves will be back in action on Tuesday playing host to Class 2A power Greater Atlanta Christian.
