The Lula man critically injured in a motorcycle wreck on Ga. 365 in southern Habersham County Saturday night has died, according the Georgia State Patrol.
Charles Denver Colbert, 35, of Lula has died of those injuries, said Sr. Trooper John Crawford of GSP Post 7 in Toccoa Monday night.
Colbert was operating a black 1999 Yamaha XVS 1100 motorcycle that was headed south near Yonah Post Road about 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Crawford said.
“The motorcycle was negotiating a curve southbound on Ga. 365 and traveled from the left lane to the right lane to the pavement edge, and the driver lost control,” Crawford said.
