A Hall County resident remains in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a motorcycle wreck on Ga. 365 in southern Habersham County Saturday night.
Sr. Trooper John Crawford of Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa provided preliminary details of the wreck that occurred shortly before 8 p.m. near Yonah Post Road. Crawford said the man is a Lula resident, but is withholding the his name and other specifics until Sunday pending notification of family.
“The motorcycle was negotiating a curve southbound on Ga. 365 and traveled from the left lane to the right lane to the pavement edge, and the driver lost control,” Crawford said. “He literally wrecked in Habersham County and skidded across the Hall County line.”
Alcohol is suspected in the wreck, Crawford said.
