GAINESVILLE — North Hall's offense has been full steam ahead for the last two weeks.
The Trojans (6-3, 4-1 Region 7-3A) Wing-T attack mauled East Hall's defense for 452 yards en route to a 44-6 win Friday night at The Brickyard.
JT Fair had 12 carries for 154 yards and three touchdowns and Jacob Dickey added 137 yards on five carries and a score to lead North Hall's ground game.
The Trojans offense has scored 97 points and piled up more than 800 yards in the last two weeks.
"A lot of it is execution," North Hall coach David Bishop said. "We're getting healthy. Our last piece of the puzzle, Clark Howell, came back tonight. Tonight, he was able to get in there and feel comfortable. It's just an added piece we'll have next week."
Howell carried the ball five times for 41 yards.
The win sets up a battle at The Brickyard with Dawson County on Friday for a home playoff game. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
"Last year everyone expected it to be a scoring fest and we went into overtime 10-10," Bishop said about the 2018 game in which Dawson won 17-10. "So I don't really know what to expect except both teams are going to get after it for sure."
North Hall scored 21 points in the first quarter. Dickey scored on a 57-yard run, Cade Miller had a 1-yard run and Trey Sanders connected with Luke Volley on a 25-yard pass.
Fair scored all three touchdowns in the second quarter on runs of 6, 3 and 56 in the second quarter to give the Trojans a 44-6 lead at the half.
Clete Cooper was 20-of-32 for 220 yards and a touchdown for East Hall ((1-8, 0-5 Region 7-3A). Cooper's touchdown pass came early in the fourth quarter when he found Aaron Thomas on a 7-yard pass with 11:54 to go.
