Union County blasts Social Circle 41-6

SOCIAL CIRCLE — Union County's offense exploded against Social Circle in a 41-6 Region 8-2A rout Friday night at Redskins Field.

The Panthers (9-0, 6-0 Region 8-2A) racked up the 41 points in the first half and scored two touchdowns in less than four minutes in the first quarter.

Pierson Allison highlighted the quarter with a 72-yard pass from Pierson Allison to Rich with 8:14 left.

Union County scored three more times before the end of the opening quarter. 

Allison ended the night with three touchdowns passes, all in the first half and Daniel rushed for three scores, including a 45-yard run in the second quarter.

The win sets up another showdown for first next week at Mike Colwell Memorial Stadium in Blairsville against Rabun County. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
