*Peach State Federal Credit Union has created a $3,000 scholarship to assist students at Toccoa Falls College who are pursuing a degree in the field of Teacher Education. One student in the School of Teacher Education will be awarded the $500 scholarship each semester for the next three years.

*The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission Career Coach will visit the Goodwill Job Fair in Oakwood on Nov. 12 from 11:00 AM – 1 PM. Experts will be on hand to help job-seekers search for and apply for jobs, write resumes and cover letters, discern their career interests, and learn about funding available for training. *Jackson Electric Membership Corporation has awarded Gainesville Middle School teacher Dory Moore a Bright Ideas grant to be utilized for her classroom. Moore, who teaches music and chorus, received $1,034 to purchase ukuleles for her music class.
