Friday Game Night Week 10 top performers

With two weeks left in the high school football regular season, the playoff picture continues to get clearer. Meanwhile, some of the area’s athletes turned in big performances in Week 10.

Jefferson's Colby Clark and East Jackson's Nino Brown led the area in rushing while North Hall's JT Fair had the best overall performance.  

White County's Cooper Turner topped the receiving category and Dawson County quarterback Zach Holtzclaw was on top of the area's passing game.

Friday Game Night Top Performers

-- Jefferson's Colby Clark had 232 yards on the ground on 37 carries and three touchdowns on runs of 20, 6, and 25 yards in the Dragons' 26-7 win over Monroe Area.

-- Gainesville's Gionni Williams used his legs and mixed in his on-target arm, gaining 152 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns while passing for another 107 yards on a 7-for-11 night and a score. 

-- Gainesville's JD Brooks finished with 23 carries for 105 yards and a score and Dez Brown turned in 95 yards on 10 carries. 

-- Rabun's Cory Keller had 136 yards rushing on just 9 carries and one touchdown 

-- White County's J Ben Haynes finished with 213 yards passing and another 59 yards rushing.  

-- Cooper Turner had 9 catches for 165 yards and Jesse Thomas snared 5 receptions for 91 yards in White County's loss to Denmark.

-- Jaden Gibson led Dawson County's receiving game with four catches for 131 yards and two scores.

-- Dawson County sophomore Zach Holtzclaw completed 20-of-24 passes for 387 yards and five touchdowns in the Tigers' 51-7 win over Fannin County. 

-- JT Fair led North Hall in total offense with 170 yards, 99 receiving and two scores and 71 yards rushing and a touchdown. 

-- North Hall's Jacob Dickey rushed four times for 91 yards and a touchdown

-- JD Brooks finished with 23 carries for 105 yards and a score and Dez Brown turned in 95 yards on 10 carries in Gainesville's win over Winder-Barrow.

-- East Jackson running back Nino Brown rushed for 240 yards on 28 carries, eclipsing the 1,000 mark on the season 

-- Gainesville's Lenny Chatman had four catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the Red Elephants' 38-29 win.
