By AccessWDUN Staff

TIGER — Rabun County scored 58 unanswered points in taking a 61-20 win over Social Circle Friday night at home.

The Wildcats (8-0, 5-0 Region 8-2A) got six touchdown passes from Gunner Stockton despite throwing for a season-low 169 yards for the game. Cory Keller had 136 yards rushing on just 9 carries and one touchdown as Rabun County erased an early 7-0 deficit to lead 58-7 heading into the fourth quarter.

Social Circle (2-6, 0-5) took the initial lead on a 73-yard touchdown pass on the opening play of the game. But the Wildcats exploded scoring six touchdowns on just 18 plays over the remainder of the first half. Braxton Hicks and Sutton Jones each caught a pair of touchdowns while Sam Adams and Tate Rainey each caught one touchdown pass in a 15-minute span.

Rabun County will travel to Oglethorpe County next week while Social Circle will play host to Union County next week.
