The Gwinnett County Police Department has identified two individuals who were found dead inside a Norcross hotel room early Wednesday morning.
The two individuals have been identified as Lecresha Jalyn Day, 24, of Seffer, Florida and Delvin Antonio Shorter, 26, of Quincy, Florida.
According to Corporal Wilbert Rundles, both died from a gunshot to the head.
"This case has been ruled to be a murder/suicide with Delvin being the suspect," Rundles said. "Notification to next of kin has been made."
Authorities responded to an initial report of suspicious activity at the Norcross Inn and Suites (6650 Bay Circle, Peachtree Corners) at approximately 3:42 a.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived on the scene they located a male and a female deceased inside a hotel room.
