Gwinnett County Police find missing Loganville teen

The Gwinnett County Police Department has located an 18-year-old Loganville man, last seen on Oct. 8.

"David Canup has been located safe," said a statement issued by the department. "Because he is an adult, his location is being kept confidential to protect his privacy."

The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating the case of a missing 18-year-old Loganville teen.

David Canup, 18, was reported missing by his parents from their home on Misty Rose Lane in unincorporated Loganville.

According to authorities, he was last seen around 8 p.m. on October 8.

David is described to be a white male, 6 feet tall, 130 lbs. with bleached blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, black jeans, black denim jacket, and black and white Converse sneakers. He has black-framed glasses and a gap in his front teeth.

He has a medical condition that gives him the mentality of a young teen. He sometimes wears female clothing. When he dresses as a woman, he prefers to be called “Emma.”
