Police: Robbery is likely motive in Friday night murder in Buford

Detectives with the Gwinnett County Police Department believe theft or robbery motivated a murder in unincorporated Buford Friday night.

Officers were called to the home on Kendrix Drive around 10 p.m. after a family member found the victim in the garage suffering from significant head trauma. The 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died, according to police. 

For now, the victim's identity is being withheld.

Detectives have no suspect information at this point.
