Jefferson rolls to 33-0 win over Franklin County

JEFFERSON — It was another collective effort out of the Jefferson backfield in a 33-0 win over Franklin County at Memorial Stadium Friday night. 

Nine Dragons carried the ball for 247 yards, including an 84-yard night from sophomore Malaki Starks and a score. 

Colby Clark finished with 58 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Clark hit Josh Cochran for a 33-yard touchdown pass. 

The Dragons (4-1, 2-0) ran 34 totals plays for 280 yards. Franklin had 45 plays for 140 yards of total offense. 

Jefferson will travel to Hart County for a big Region 8-3A showdown with Hart County. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
