Monday is the last day in Georgia to register to vote in this year's General Election which will be held Nov. 5.
While most of the attention in these off-year elections every two years is centered on city council, city commission, and mayoral elections, this year a countywide referendum will be voted on in Hall County: a proposed extension of a Special Purpose Option Sales Tax. City voters will help decide the fate of the SPLOST but voters in the county who live outside a city or town limits won't be able to vote in those elections.
A sample ballot can be found on the Hall County Elections Office Website.
Advance in-person voting begins Oct. 14.
