The following closures and delays are in place for Tuesday, January 29, 2019:

Public Schools
- Buford City Schools closed
- Fannin County Schools closed
- Forsyth County Schools closed
- Gainesville City Schools closed, but administrators and 12 month staff should report
- Gilmer County Schools closed
- Gwinnett County Schools closed, but Tuesday will be a digital learning day for students.
- Habersham County Schools closed
- Hall County Schools will be closed, but students will have school from home on Tuesday.
- Rabun County Schoolc closed
- Towns County Schools closed
- Union County Schools closed
- White County Schools closed
Private Schools (including pre-schools)
- Lakeview Academy closed
- Maranatha Christian Academy closed
- Tallulah Falls School closed
Colleges & Universities
- All campuses of the University of North Georgia will be closed. All classes and activities for Tuesday will be canceled.
- All campuses of Lanier Technical College will be closed. All classes and activities for Tuesday will be canceled.
- All three campuses of North Georgia Technical College will be closed Tuesday, January 29, 2019 for students, faculty and staff.
- Gainesville, Fairburn and Norcross campuses of Brenau University will be closed. All classes and activities for Tuesday will be canceled.
- Truett-McConnell University will be closed Tuesday
GOVERNMENT OFFICES/EVENTS
- Second public hearing for updates to the Hall County Board of Rabies Control Rules and Regulations has been canceled for Tuesday and has been rescheduled for Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Hall County Environmental Health Department
- Forsyth County Government offices will be closed Tuesday
- Forsyth Council Planning Commission regular meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. has been canceled.
- The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Retreat scheduled for January 30 has been canceled.
- Helen City Hall and Adminstrative offices of Helen Police Department closed.
BUSINESSES
- Randy & Friends closed
- Boys and Girls Club of Lanier closed
COMMUNITY EVENTS
- Norton 2019 Native Intelligence meeting moved to February 5th
- Gainesville Kiwanis meeting canceled. Hall County Schools Star Teacher-Student Luncheon hosted by Gainesville Kiwanis postponed.
- The Gainesville Senior Life Center and Meals on Wheels programs will be closed Tuesday.
