By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

A 14-year-old girl who once lived in Gwinnett County has gone missing from her home in Madisonville, Tennessee.

Monroe County, Tennessee Sheriff Tommy Jones is asking people in surrounding to states to help locate Savannah Leigh Pruitt, who was last seen at her Madisonville home on January 13.

Jones says Pruitt is believed to have traveled towards Corbin, Kentucky. FBI officials, however, have reached out to the metro Atlanta area for help due to Pruitt's ties to the Lawrenceville area. Officials say she moved from Georgia to Tennessee just four weeks before her disappearance.

Anyone with information on Pruitt's location is asked to call the Monroe County, Tennessee Sheriff's Office at 423-442-3911 (423-442-HELP) or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Officials say Pruitt is 5 feet 3 inches tall weighing 110 pounds. No description of her clothing is known.
