Four area wrestling teams qualified for the State Duals at Area Duals tournaments held around the state on Friday.
Seedings for all seven classifications will be held on Sunday in Locus Grove.
In the Area 5-3A Duals, North Hall rolled to the Area Title dominating the competition. The Trojans opened with a 69-9 win over Greater Atlanta Christian and followed with a 66-6 rout of Lovett. They took and 84-0 win over Lumpkin County in the finals when the Indians took a forfeit to prepare for a true second matchup with host Fannin County.
Lumpkin County then beat the Rebels for second place and a spot in Macon.
At Jackson County High School, Jefferson held off the host Panthers 44-21 to win the Area 6-3A title.
All four teams advanced to the Class AAA State Duals in Macon next week beginning on Thursday.
In Region 7-4A, Chestatee finished second to Blessed Trinity to advance in Class 4A.
Flowery Branch took third and White County was fourth in the Area Duals held at West Hall.
