With the holidays now in the rearview mirror, it's time to get back up to speed with the first Hard Left Turn podcast of 2019.

Several items have crossed the AccessWDUN Motorsports News Desk over the past few weeks, and in this week's episode, Brandon Reed and Pete McCole take a look at a few of them, including:

-After weeks of speculation, Daniel Suarez was finally announced as the new driver of the No. 41 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series on Monday.

-Over the past couple of weeks, two high profile teams have announced their exit from the NASCAR Xfinity Series, as both Chip Ganassi Racing and Roush Fenway Motorsports shuttered their NXS operations.

-Formosa Productions Inc. and Bristol Motor Speedway recently announced that they will work together to try to bring big time NASCAR events back to the historic Nasvhville Fairgrounds Speedway short track in Tennessee.
