An open house was held Thursday afternoon for the renovated Hall County Courthouse Annex.
The project was designed to contain Juvenile Court, Probate Court, Juvenile Probation and the Clerk of Courts in one facility, according to a statement from the county Public Information Office.
The upgrades include four new courtrooms (three juvenile and one probate), a renovation of the Board of Equalization office, and a partial renovation of the bottom level (creating more space for the Clerk of Courts), two new elevators and a new HVAC system.
The project finished "on budget" at $2.5 million, funded by SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Taxes) VI, according to county officials.
