With the 2019 Georgia legislative session quickly approaching, the Habersham Chamber of Commerce has organized a pre-legislative gathering next week to give constituents a chance to meet with local lawmakers.
Sen. John Wilkinson, Rep. Terry Rogers and Rep.-Elect Chris Erwin will be at the Habersham EMC Community Room in Clarkesville on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7:30 a.m.
All three lawmakers will make brief remarks, but then each will be available for one-on-one conversations with local residents.
The Habersham County Chamber of Commerce will provide the forum for the community, and light breakfast refreshments will be provided.
The public is invited, and there is no fee to attend. Organizers expect the event to be over by 9 a.m.
