UGA SID: Dogs-MTSU game 'still on' for now

By Jeff Hart Sports Reporter

ATHENS — Tweets from Georgia Sports Information Director Claude Felton to some members of the press say that, for now, Saturday's football game at Sanford Stadium between the Bulldogs and Middle Tennessee is still on as scheduled.

Felton said the school is "closely monitoring Hurricane Florence" which has been projected to hit land sometime this weekend anywhere between South Carolina and North Carolina and then possibly head inland toward north Georgia.

The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:15 p.m. Saturday night.

We will continue to post stories on the status of Georgia's game as we get more information.
