Hall planning board to hear proposals for S. Hall entertainment venue, N. Hall subdivision

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

The Hall County Planning Commission is set to hear proposals Monday for an agri-entertainment complex in South Hall and a subdivision in North Hall.

According to the agenda for the meeting, Matt Miller is asking for a "conditional use" permit for a 37.5-acre site at 3760 Friendship Circle for the agri-entertainment venue.  The property is currently zoned AR-III (Agricultural Residential 3) and no change in zoning is being requested.

At the other end of the county, Kent Henderson has applied for a rezoning of 25.6 acres on Mt. Vernon Road near Ben Parks Road, where a 23-lot subdivision is planned.  The tract is currently zoned AR-IV (Agricultural Residential 4).  Henderson is asking that it be rezoned R-1 (Residential One).

The planning board meets at 5:15 at the county government center on Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville.
