*Interactive Neighborhood for Kids (INK) will host its 6th Annual Emergency Preparedness Day on September 30, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. This year’s Presenting Sponsor is CareSource. The goal is to allow families and children a chance to experience hands-on learning regarding well-being and emergency preparedness.

*The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, October 6,  on the Downtown Gainesville Square. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Nearly 600 people are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease, according to organizers.
