Sec. of State Brian Kemp picked up a big endorsement Wednesday afternoon in the Georgia GOP gubernatorial runoff, that of President Donald Trump.
Trump took to Twitter to offer his endorsement.
"Brian is tough on crime, strong on the border and illegal immigration. He loves our Military and our Vets and protects our Second Amendment. I give him my full and total endorsement," the president wrote.
The announcement came just two days after Kemp's opponent, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, picked up the endorsement of outgoing Gov. Nathan Deal.
