*The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce's new community magazine is now available at chamber headquarters on E.E. Butler Parkway.

*The Forsyth County Animal Shelter hopes to help families bring a new pet home by cutting its standard $85 pet adoption fee to $40 for all animals. The Summer of Love adoption promotion begins June 2 and will be available for pet adoptions through September 3.

*The Splash Pad at Hall County’s Laurel Park is open for the season and will be open until Labor Day.  Hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m.  The cost is $2 per child. 

*The Hall County Animal Shelter’s “Cars for Critters” fundraiser will be held June 9 at Laurel Park starting at 10:00.
