Gwinnett County Public Schools searching for special ed teachers

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is searching for special education teachers for the upcoming school year and has scheduled a job fair at the end of the month.

The event takes place on Wednesday, May 30 from 8 p.m. to noon at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center at 437 Old Peachtree Road NW in Suwanee.

GCPS is looking to fill positions for the 2018-19 school year. To be considered for employment, applicants should hold certification or be eligible for certification by July 2018.

Interested candidates should:

  • Complete an online application at gcpsjob.org.
  • Submit a request to attend the Job Fair by Friday, May 25.
  • Log in and check online application for completion.                                                                                                  

Limited interview times are available, according to the school system. Individuals selected to attend the fair will receive an email confirmation. Questions about the job fair or the application process can be submitted at gcpsteach@gwinnett.k12.ga.us or applicants may call 678-301-6076.
