A metro Atlanta woman, 30-year-old Jennifer Pringle of Acworth, was killed in a Wednesday morning traffic accident in Barrow County.
The crash occurred during morning rush hour on Highway 82 near Jones Road, according to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office.
"The vehicle involved in the fatality on Highway 82 was a Nissan Xterra. This was a single-vehicle collision where speed was a factor," Sheriff's Capt. Ryan Sears wrote in an email statement.
Investigators believe the vehicle left the roadway and Pringle over-corrected, which caused the vehicle to roll before striking a tree and coming to rest.
Pringle was the only occupant in the vehicle.
