Tyler Millwood takes ULTIMATE SLM victory at Modoc

MODOC, S.C. - Tyler Millwood held off Ross Bailes over the closing laps of Saturday night’s Jack Starrette Memorial to score the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series victory at South Carolina’s Modoc Raceway.

For Millwood, who hails from Kingston, Georgia, it marked his first career series victory. He took home a winner’s paycheck of $5,022 for his efforts.

On the start of the feature, Millwood surged to the early lead. After battling through traffic, Millwood found himself working to hold Bailes at bay over the closing laps.

In the end, Millwood held the point, leading flag-to-flag en route to the win..

Bailes settled for second, with John Henderson third, Cla Knight fourth and Joey Coulter in fifth.

Brent Dixon, Kyle Hardy, Zack Mitchell, G.R. Smith and Michael Brown rounded out the top ten.

The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will be back in action on Saturday, May 5 at South Carolina’s Laurens County Speedway.
