A Gainesville man is facing a child exploitation charge, after a search warrant turned up lewd pictures and videos of children at his home, Hall County sheriff's deputies said.
Jeffrey Erwin Giessen, 64, was arrested Tuesday when Hall County Sheriff's Office investigators searched his home, where they found the pictures and videos that showed "children engaged in sexually explicit conduct," said Lt. Scott Ware, public information officer.
Giessen was taken into custody at his home on Karen Lane in West Hall County.
The case remains under investigation, said Ware.
