Community invited to offer input on new Hall County park

By AccessWDUN Staff
With a new park scheduled to be built in his district, Hall County District 4 Commissioner Jeff Stowe is hosting a community meeting on Monday, April 9 to get input from residents on the project.

"This is an opportunity for citizens to hear about the project, its timeline and its budget," Stowe said in a press statement. "It's also an opportunity for me and county staff to hear from residents about which components of a park are most important to them."

The proposed location for the new park is next door to the Hall County Health Department on Athens Street.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Fair Street Community Center, located at 715 Fair Street in Gainesville.

For those who are unable to attend Monday's meeting, an online survey will be available at www.hallcounty.org following the meeting to solicit input on the park's features.
