Chester scores first career FASTRAK victory at Screven

Ches Chester took the checkered flag first to score the FASTRAK Racing Series victory on Saturday night at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia.

It marks the first career Series win for the Twin City, Georgia driver, earning him a $3,000 payday.

Chester took the lead on lap 28 and never looked back in the 40-lap feature. Bob Robertson led the first 15 laps before finishing second, 3.605 seconds behind Chester.

Matthew Nance came home in third, followed by Ben Faircloth in fourth and Joshua Bishop in fifth.

Kenny Peeples, Jr., pole sitter Travis Pennington, David Smith, Brad Basey and Justin Wofford rounded out the top ten.

The FASTRAK Racing Series will return to action at Clary’s Motor Speedway in Hollister, North Carolina on Friday, April 13, followed by a trip to Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday, April 14.
