*The Atlanta Botanical Gardens’ Concerts in the Garden at the Ivester Amphitheater in Gainesville this year will feature Boz Scaggs on May 5 and Melissa Ethridge on Sep. 22.

*Jonathan Pittman and Anish Bikmal, both of Cumming, have been chosen to represent Sawnee EMC on the 53rd annual Washington Youth Tour, a leadership experience sponsored by electric membership cooperatives (EMCs) from Georgia and across the nation.  This year’s tour takes place June 7-14.

*Forsyth County Senior Services is hosting its 16th annual Forsyth Senior Expo on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College, 3410 Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Cumming. There is no charge to attend.

*Piedmont College Theatre closes out its 2017-2018 season with Michael Cristofer’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-Winning play, The Shadow Box, April 5-8.

*On April 20-22, the University of North Georgia welcomes alumni of all campuses and all eras to the Dahlonega Campus to celebrate Alumni Weekend.
