Christ Place Church has taken the wraps off its new logo as a followup to the new name for Blackshear Place Baptist Church which was introduced last month.
According to a press release from the church, this new branding "aligns the church’s identity around our mission of disciplining one another to reach and raise the next generation to live out God’s truth. It’s all about getting people to the cross where they will meet the Savior."
The decision to change the name of the church was approved by the membership on Feb. 11.
With more than 9,000 members, Christ Place Church is a Southern Baptist Church and supports SBC causes and missions both locally and around the world.
