A female juvenile is safe after being inside a Dawson county home during a standoff with law enforcement Sunday morning.
According to a Facebook post, Dawson County deputies responded to a report of child abuse to find multiple suspects armed with a gun barricaded in a home.
"After failed attempts to establish contact and dialogue with the offenders, The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team arrived with their specially trained personnel and equipment," Dawson County Sheriff Jeff Johnson wrote in the post.
Shortly after the team's arrival, Johnson said the standoff was resolved without injury or incident.
Authorities said the suspects have warrants out of Washington state. The juvenile was reported to be ok.
The sheriff didn't immediately disclose the location of the residence.
