*The Lake Lanier Atlanta Flotilla of the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer a two-hour class entitled Suddenly in Command on Sunday, March 18 at 1:30 at its Operations Center in Flowery Branch.  The class is primarily for people who don't usually operate a boat and will be taught by women of the Flotilla who have many years of family boating and teaching experience.  

*The Forsyth County Animal Shelter will be providing animal adoptions at Beaver Toyota on the second Saturday of the month beginning today. The events will be held at 1875 Buford Highway in Cumming from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

*The UGA Extension Office in Hall County in partnership with Jaemor Farms has food preservation classes coming up this spring and summer.  For more information, contact Carin Booth at the Extension office- [email protected] or 770-535-8293.  

*On Saturday, April 14 Braselton will host a Rivers Alive clean-up from 9:00-1:00.  The gathering point will be 1470 New Liberty Church Road.  For more information contact Yvette Wise 706-654-3915 ext. 1012 or email her at [email protected]  with "Rivers Alive Event" in the subject line.

*The Arts Council in Gainesville presents the "3 Redneck Tenors" as part of its Signature Series - 2018 on March 27 at 7:30. The performance will take place at Pearce Auditorium, on the campus of Brenau University. 

*Piedmont College’s artists-in-residence chamber ensemble, Piedmont Camerata, will present a free concert at 4 p.m., March 18 in the Chapel on the Demorest campus.
