CLARKESVILLE — The Gainesville boys golf team had a solid showing at the Apple Mountain Invitational Saturday held at Apple Mountain Resort.
The Gainesville 'Red' finished second with a total 281 (7-under par) in the 21-team field. Mill Creek won the event firing a 277 (11-under par). Dalton was third at 283. The Gainesville 'White' took fifth with a 313-total.
The 'Red' team was led by Ryan Hogan and Davis Weaver, who both fired 69s on the day.
