Rasmit Devkota, a seventh-grader at Gainesville Middle School, won first place in the recent Georgia Association of Educators Regional Spelling Bee.
Devkota now advances to the State Spelling Bee which will be held March 16 at the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site in Plains.
