LAWRENCEVILLE — East Jackson ran its win streak to five straight with a pair of wins Saturday at Discovery High School.
In the fist game, a 15-4 romp over host Discovery, Ethan Daniel and Cole Sealey combined for six hits and 3 RBI to lead East Jackson offense. Luke Hayden had a hit and 3 RBI and Caleb Adair, Patrick Madden, and Brian Puckett all had two hits and one RBI for the Eagles.
The Eagles then followed with a 10-0 shutout of Berkmar. Cole Sealey went the distance scattering four hits and striking out six in the five-inning win. Josh Compton and Bryson Beck each a hit and two RBI for East Jackson.

ATHENS CHRISTIAN 2
Lane Watkins and Ryan Godfrey each belted two-run homer uns to lead the Dragons to win in six innings Saturday.
Zac Corbin had a triple and a double and two RBI and Mason Cooper had a three-run double as well.
Brandon Trefren earned the win allowing just two runs on two hits in four innings of work.
Jefferson (4-1) is off until next Saturday taking on Shiloh and Franklin County at Emmanuel College.

The teams split a non-region doubleheader at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.
AJ Gonzalez and Connor Reynolds each smacked home runs for Flowery Branch (2-4) in the second game. Preston Felt also earned the win in the second game.
Flowery Branch next will travel to Gainesville on Tuesday. Fannin County (3-3) will play host to Gilmer on Wednesday.
