The Hall County Library System and the U.S. Small Business Administration have teamed up to offer help in the small business sector.
Library officials said the assistance will come in a series of free workshops for small business owners and individuals who want to start businesses.
The administration runs the workshops through its SCORE resource.
Sessions will be presented at various library system branches beginning March 10.
While SCORE already holds workshops, officials said the partnership with the library will help serve more small business owners.
Library Assistant Gabriele Koecher said SCORE actually held some workshops at the library before the partnership.
"They found out that if they do it at a library facility, they reach more people that are interested in these workshops," Koecher said. "They came to us and asked were we interested in making this a regular occurrence."
Topics for the workshops range from marketing methods to how to price services and products, as well as four other subjects.

- How to Function with QuickBooks
SCORE will also provide retired or active business executives to mentor small business owners and those interested in starting a new business.
"What we're trying to do is reach all parts of the local population, so small businesses are one part of that," Koecher added.
