OAKWOOD — The Johnson girls basketball program is looking for a new head coach.

On Thursday, Knights athletic director Jonathan Edwards confirmed that coach Duke Mullis is leaving the position after just one season in charge.

"Johnson High School is announcing that our head girls basketball coach, Duke Mullis, is stepping down from his position due to personal reasons," Edwards said via press release. "We thank him for his hard work and wish him and his family nothing but the best in the future."

Mullis' only Johnson team went 0-25.

The Lady Knights also went winless in the campaign before Mullis' arrival and won two games during the 2015-16 season.
