OAKWOOD — West Hall scored in every inning in taking an 11-1, five-inning victory over Berkmar Wednesday afternoon.
Peyton Randozzo had a three-run double and Cameron Shirley had a pair of RBI singles to lead a 13-hit attack. Carter Lott and Jeffrey Jenkins each had two hits and Canaan Kroger, Gabe Allison, Dylan Simpson, Kyle Murphy, Clayon Murphy, and Braden Simms all had one hit apiece for the Spartans (3-1).
West Hall scored four in the first inning, one in the second, three more in the third,another in the fourth, and two in the bottom of the fifth to invoke the 10-run Mercy rule. Berkmar scored its only run in the fifth.
Simpson and Shirely combined for a four-hitter on the mound and fanned five.
The two teams will meet in Lilburn on Friday to complete a home-and-home series.
