*Tanger Outlets in Commerce recently donated $25,090.98 during a check presentation for ‘Monies for Mammos: Northridge Medical Center Breast Imaging Fund’ which provides mammography screenings and follow-up procedures for qualified individuals.  The money was raised during Tanger's 25th Annual Pink Campaign in October, which included a ‘Fit for a Cure 5K’ event and the ‘Shop Pink Card’ program.

*During the final Forsyth County Board of Commissioners regular meeting last week, outgoing District 1 Commissioner Pete Amos was recognized for his eight years on the commission. Prior to serving on the Board of Commissioners, Amos was a member and chairman of the county Planning Commission. District 1 Commissioner Molly Cooper was sworn into office on Dec. 17.  In addition, Todd Levent was sworn in the same day for his third term as District 3 commissioner.
