CLEVELAND — White County School System officials say no one was hurt Tuesday morning when a school bus slid into a pole while on its morning run.
According to Scott Justus, Assistant Superintendent for White County Schools, a bus driver had trouble maneuvering down a dirt road. The driver attempted to back up and slid into a pole.
“There were a few kids on the bus, and we take our students’ safety very seriously,” Justus said. “So, when arriving at school, those students were all checked out by the school nurse.”
Justus said no one was hurt, and parents of the students involved were notified.
